For those who don’t like waves but enjoy salt water, we recommend the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz or Socoa and the beach at Hendaye.
And if you like calmer waters, your children will surely appreciate the lakes of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Guiche and Sames. These lakes offer a wide range of water activities, including inflatable games, pedalos and paddleboats, as well as supervised swimming.

Donkey ride in the Aldudes valley
Immerse yourself in a unique experience in the heart of the Aldudes Valley with the educational trail dedicated to Basque pork, one of the emblems of our rich culinary tradition!
During the summer months, donkeys wait patiently for children to set off for a ride along the picturesque paths, punctuated by educational stops on the life of Basque pigs. You’ll learn all about the breeding and contribution to our gastronomy of this local breed, from the maternity hospital to the mountain breeding parks.
Don’t forget your picnic: the stone tables along the trail are perfect for a gourmet break.

Treasure hunt at Château de Laàs
The Château des Énigmes de Laàs invites you and your family to experience a new bewitching adventure, with a great treasure hunt in a world populated by fantastic creatures.
For almost 3 hours, experience what it’s like to be an apprentice magician, as you accompany Willy on his heroic quest. Overcome the trials of the flying broom, free the fairy queen, find your way back through the spinning webs, escape the masked figure in the bamboo grove and challenge the dragon Iragor.

- The course is not accessible to baby carriages. Baby carriers are available free of charge at the park entrance.
- Dogs are allowed on the course, provided they are kept on a leash at all times.

Baigura leisure park
Located at the summit of the majestic Baigura, this leisure park offers a diverse range of activities for all outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or a lover of tranquillity, there’s something for everyone!
Pottok rides, tourist “train-tractor” ascents, paragliding schools, scooter descents, mountain bike tours, rock climbing, canyoning, massage therapy, aerotrampoline… you name it, we’ve got it, and it’s sure to delight all outdoor and sports enthusiasts.

Funicular and Monte Igueldo in San Sebastian
Young and old alike will fall under the spell of its 1912 amusement park, reached by a funicular railway more than a century old.
In addition to one of the best views of San Sebastian and La Concha Bay, you’ll find a number of historic rides with old-fashioned charm, such as the mysterious river, the carousel, the great labyrinth or the Swiss mountain, a “roller coaster” built on the mountain.
A total of 19 attractions, where young and old alike can enjoy all kinds of sensations!

The Witches’ Walk is for you!
Accompanied by your enthusiastic guide Julien, discover the secrets of the witch-hunts that marked the Basque Country between 1609 and 1610.
Draw the cards of destiny and play the role of one of the villagers of the time. The further you go along the trail, the more you’ll learn about your destiny and the events that shook the region.
