Ferme Agerria is located 15 minutes from Hasparren, near the Grottes d'Isturitz and Oxocelhaya, in the peaceful village of Saint-Martin-d'Arberoue.
Maitena, Bernadette and Jean Claude invite you to share their passion for dairy sheep farming (flock life, feeding, milking), and cheese production (A.O.P Ossau-Iraty). They also raise free-range Basque pigs, whose charcuterie and Kintoa ham are made on site. A video will show you how the cheese is made and matured. You'll have the chance to watch the different activities: lambing from late October to March, milking from December to July, shearing from late April to early May. For those with a sweet tooth, the farm tour ends with a tasting session.
Opening Toute l'année, du lundi au samedi de 9h à 19h. Fermé le jour de Noël et jour de l'an.
