This fall concert features two regional artists: Anne Mestelan, a soprano well known in the Basque Country for her numerous vocal performances, and Tobias Auer, an organist who has had an impressive academic career in Germany and who, having settled in the Landes region several years ago, is now pursuing his musical activities there as a teacher and choir director.

Our two performers are joining forces to present a brilliant Baroque program.

Anne Mestelan will sing great arias from the Baroque repertoire, particularly by G. F. Handel, a composer who was deeply in love with the human voice.

Tobias Auer will showcase the exceptional Baroque organ at Cambo by interspersing organ pieces throughout the recital, notably by J.S. Bach and D. Buxtehude, not to mention a nod to S. Durén, who is buried in the church.

Tickets on sale at the tourist office starting October 8.
