A musical evening at the court of Marie-Anne de Neubourg!
In the church of Saint-Laurent, where Sebastián Durón, music master to Marie-Anne de Neubourg, lies buried, let yourself be charmed by a variety of works performed during a musical evening at the court of the queen in exile in Bayonne. Four passionate musicians invite you on a musical journey between France and Spain, combining voices and baroque instruments in pieces by Jean-Baptiste Lully, Marin Marais, Demachy, Étienne Moulinié, Sebastián Durón and Juan Cabanilles.
The performers will be Juliette Val, harpsichord and organ, professor and coordinator of the early music department at the Bayonne Conservatoire; Flore Seube, viola da gamba, professor at the Bordeaux Conservatoire; Édith Sharpin, soprano, Haute École de Musique de Genève; Alix Sharpin, soprano and baroque violin, Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris and CRR de PARIS.
