Your Basque cake is the best, that's for sure! Your family and friends are convinced... but will it convince the members of the Jury?
The competition is open to young professionals (apprentices and workers under the age of 20). Registration is required, with a limit of 20 participants in the young professionals category.
The cakes are delivered on Sunday morning to the Trinquet in Cambo-les-Bains, and then presented to the jury for tasting. The prize-giving ceremony takes place in public, after the Confrérie Chapter, on Place de la Mairie, at around 12.45pm (if it's raining, the prize-giving ceremony will take place in the Trinquet, after the Jury's deliberations).
