Your Basque cake is the best, that's for sure! Your family and friends are convinced... but will it convince the members of the Jury?
The competition is open to amateurs. Registration is required, with a limit of 45 participants for the amateur competition.
The cakes are delivered on Sunday morning to the Trinquet in Cambo-les-Bains, and then presented to the jury for tasting. The prize-giving ceremony takes place in public, after the Confrérie Chapter, on Place de la Mairie, at around 12.45pm (if it's raining, the prize-giving ceremony will take place in the Trinquet, after the Jury's deliberations).
