The next edition of the KORRIKA, a major relay race in support of the Basque language, will take place from March 19 to 29, 2026. This major popular and cultural event will cross the whole of Euskal Herria over a distance of 2,175 kilometers, with 3,436 baton passes, passing through almost 460 municipalities.
The start of this new edition will be in Atharratze (Tardets), Xiberoa, on March 19, 2026, in keeping with the tradition of KORRIKA starting in the territory where the previous edition ended. The finish is scheduled for Bilbao on March 29, 2026, after eleven days of uninterrupted day and night racing.
Passage through Cambo-les-Bains on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 5:31 p.m.
As in previous years, the town of Cambo-les-Bains will be taking part in the event, offering Basque-language entertainment throughout the 11 days of KORRIKA.
