Discover Piment d'Espelette PDO in an authentic setting, on a family farm in the heart of the Basque Country. You'll start with a guided tour of the farm: a stroll through the fields (depending on the season), a visit to the drying greenhouse, then a tour of the oven where the roasted aromas of the peppers are revealed.
You'll then taste a range of homemade products (PDO powder, jelly, cream, etc.), before moving on to a fun, gourmet moment of creation: customizing your own flavored oil with the ingredients of your choice (chili, lemon, thyme, sun-dried tomatoes, etc.). Cooking tips, tricks and recipe ideas will be shared throughout the workshop.
